Toxic Ingredients

Toxic Ingredients

Number One:
Licensed Cosmetologists are trained to use chemicals in a safe and and productive manner.  The key thought here is they are toxic chemicals and professionals are licensed to handle them safely.

Don't let the idea here be confused.  The normal chemcials are just that
chemicals, regardless if they have some organic ingredients in the forlmula or even if a company uses the word hollistic or natural.
The next level of hair color most companies have gleaned from this website is to make a lower chemical, less stinky product and,  as I have been talking about for decades, not using PPD and other chemicals people have problems with.

But, this information is not new and it is not perfect.  I have been testing all new products that come out for validity.  Also talking about new products that come out.

There are many, many more things I can say about this, but I will refrain for now.

Note:
Often,  it depends how a chemical is used for the toxic ingredient to manifest or release a gas or secondary chemical.

Look up:
Ethanaolomine, amonia.

Look up:
PPD, PTD's.

Naturlique: Not Really Natural, by USA Standards.

Case in point:  I recently bought a product called Naturlique via the California rep. I asked her why it is labeled All Natural - because the ingredients list, it is clearly not all natural.

She laughted and told me that due to European laws their product is deemed to be catagorized: All Natural.
Because in Europe it can be labeled that way.  I tried it and it was ok, but not the quality I am used to.
Not bad though, not terrible.  But this same rep used to sell a product called Eco Colors, which is horrible, which I bought twice over 11 years ago.  It was made with PPD and after I started talking about PPD Free everywhere, then they (Eco colors) started SAYING their product was PPD Free on their website.  I never saw any of their products that were PPD Free, I even called this same rep and said that, she said, oh  they are making it.
I told them, well it should not be listed on the website.  I even called the company and they said, it was yes, ppd free. I said no read the ingredients please.

Well anyway, she may or may not be selling Eco Colors still but now she is selling this new Naturlique color, she said they contacted her and asked her to be a Distributor for their company, the Naturlique company is supposed to be located in Denmark. The rep is Roya A. and she seems to be  a nice lady.
I never liked Eco Colors haircolor itself and did not like the company because they said many untrue things, including a all natural permanent hair color that is non toxic is not available anywhere, they don't know, because I have been testing and using these colors models for decades.  They are right in a sense, most well known, on the market brands are not non toxic, neither is theirs.  How can it be non toxic and have man made, toxic chemicals in it?????

That is why I came up with the Newer term Low Chemical haircolor and started using it on this website to try to describe the type of products I use. That is why I came up with the Newer term Low Chemical haircolor and started using it on this website to try to describe the type of products I use.

GLUTEN FREE  TACTICS:  THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST GIMMIKS  GOING IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY TODAY.  NUMBER ONE:
GLUTEN IS FOUND in a short list of things, and even less in any ingredients than one would ever put     in to a cosmetic. Mainly wheat.

Gluten is found in:
Wheat (wheatberries, durum, emmer, semolina, spelt, farina, farro, graham, KAMUT® khorasan wheat and einkorn), rye, barley and triticale – a cross between wheat and rye. Gluten helps foods maintain their shape, acting as a glue that holds food together.

Like:  Maybe, may be one would put a keratin that was made from wheat in their haircolor.  But not in any lipstick  or  makeup  I have ever seen.  What else can you think of that would ever fit into any of these Gluten containing categories?  But you can get Keratin from at Least 4 other plants that are more commonly used for Keratin, wheat products may contain traces but I DOUBT IT.  USUALLY IT IS NORMALLY TAKEN OUT IN THE PROCESSING /PURIFICATION OF THESE INGREDIENTS FIRST.
What else?   Think about it.     These folks are just trying to fool you into thinking it is healthy to purchase a product that says that it is "Gluten Free"    WOW...GLUTEN FREE...
JUST ASK YOURSELF,
Well DO I HAVE CELIACS DISEASE  OR   NOT.  Then worry about it.  Or just ask your doctor.

Gluten is the sticky stuff you get a Glue like  sticky   that comes when you mix dough over and over and over.....If you just put wheat flour in water and stir a little,  there should be no gluten.   When you make a certain type of yeast bread or maybe pizza dough, you must turn the dough over and over and pull on it the Gluten is released or created.

Now days hair color companies think they can trick everyone by using the name "Organic" in their advertising or search engine listings.  THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO SCAM YOU.  Check the ingredients and see if anything in it is even organic.  If they don't list the ingredients or make it hard to find, then wonder why.  If and when you find those ellusive ingredients, see if there is anything organic.  I tell you the truth, if it is a chemical based hair color - it does not even matter what small percentage of organic ingredients are in it, if it says something like: ginseng for silkyness, that is a lie, because the small amount of any herb they put in a chemical based hair color will not make any difference.  I make hair color so I KNOW this is just for advertising and for making the product appear appealing.  Take it at face value, what it really is made of.

Most new hair color, so called natural or so called organic brands sound very good, but lets really look at the ingredients.  Anything sounding processed or like a toxic chemical you can now look up.

What is the MOST DANGEROUS INGREDIENT IN NAIL POLISH? It used to be formaldehyde.  DO YOU KNOW?
it is called:   TOULENE

PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ME THIS QUESTION:

NOW   WHAT DOES THIS CHEMICAL INGREDIENT HAVE IN COMMON WITH PTD?
(PTD is the chemical substitute  used in place of PPD),  PTD CONTAINS TOULENE.
PTD is TOXIC.  PTD IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU.  PTD's are NOT  BETTER FOR YOUR HEALTH THAN PPD's.
PTD's are also analines, in the same family as PPD.  Many people who have am allergy to PPD, also have an allergy
to PTD as well.

Many nail polishes now do not contain toulene or other undesireables.

TOXIC WATER REFORM:  Get in the act and in the know.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIY Recipes - more will be forthcomming:

Here is a lovely product you can make to keep your hands clean in cold and flue season.  I have been used this formula and a similiar one for over 25 years but using a few different ingredients and to my preference. I keep in the car a 4 oz bottle and squeeze out some, keep a paper towel roll in the car, pull off a small wedge to dry my hands off after I have cleaned them with a small squeeze.  It is handy because often I have to eat on the run.  But I use it each time I come back into the car to keep my hands free of germs and nasties.

FOODS:  Rice, look up new daily amounts. Arsenic found in rice.

Arsenic can be found in water.  Both organic and inorganic sourced arsenic. Rice anywhere is grown in water and absorbs this toxic chemical and HM.   Some new U.S. recommendations state once a week only have one serving of rice.  Limit consumption of rice made products such as rice syrup,  rice cakes, baby formula, rice milk, flour, infant mixes.

D.Y.K.:
Let me ask you this QUESTION? What happens to toxic chemicals when they go down the drain into the pipes out of sight? It goes into the water right? I heard that it really goes into the water and eventually we drink it.  Does it get pumped out to sea or just purified at the plant? Where does it go? At what point do we drink it?   Note: in the Ukraine it used to be: In order to swim in a public pool, you needed a note from your doctor every YEAR, to qualify.   The reason was:  Because Chlorine was not used in the public pools, too toxic.  Only Ionized water was used.  Think this is weird, take a guess why.

Why do they tell you not to pour toxins down the drain such as automobile left over products for your car's upkeep.   If the water cleaning plants are so good and safe, why do they tell us not to put these things in storm
drains or gutters.  Where exactly does this water go?  Not to be suspicious, but what happens to the dirty water.   Years ago we werre trained to put out leftover auto products to go to a a special place for these toxins.  I would like to know what I am drinking.

Especially when hair salons put TOXIC HAIR DYE AND TOXIC PERMANENT WAVE or JAPANESE HAIR STRAIGHTENERS DOWN THE
REGULAR DRAIN.  SAME WATER LINES AS WHERE THE DISH WATER GOES DOWN AND OUR DRINKING WATER COMES OUT OF.
WHY AREN'T HAIR SALONS  TOLD TO NOT PUT THESE CHEMICALS DOWN THE DRAIN?

THESE CHEMCIALS ARE FAR WORSE THAN MANY TOXIC HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS OR INSECTICIDES. The chemicals that make up "Draino" drain un cloger, are the same as many permanent wave and straightening formulas.

For sure it ends up in the ocean where fish and Mammals live.  Possibly animals living around deltas and streams live and reptiles.
Eventually to make it's way back into the food chain.
